Hello Healthy Lifestylers!!!!! Happy Friday.
I wanted to start a post on what our goals are from this blog and healthy lifestyle. I think this will give Sandy, Anne and myself an idea of what you are looking for/need support from this blog. If you could reply with your goals of where you want to be or what kind of support you are looking for that would be great. You can also complete emails if you do not want to publicly post your thoughts. Our email is wwbuddies@gmail.com.
Here is my goal:
-Loose another 15-20 pounds
-Run/Complete training for Half Marathon in October
-Keep up my tracking of what I am eating and not just eating whatever I feel like
-To be able to fit into a size 10 of lucky jeans that are hanging in my closet!!!!
-Be healthy enough so that if/when I get married in the next 10 years or so (maybe) I don't have to worry about loosing weight because I will already be comfortable with where I am at.
-From this blog I hope to keep my motivation up by helping others and watch all of you support each other. (who knows, this could get us on Oprah, jk, well kind of). hehe.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Think before you reach. Think about how you want to feel. Take a walk in the evening.
Much Love- Kerry

My goal is to weight what I did in high school on my 30th birthday :)
ReplyDeleteHello Everyone,
ReplyDeleteMy goal is to get healthier, as some of you know I am not doing great healthwise. Recently my doctor said that loosing weight is an integral part of getting better, or moving forward with treatment. My goal is to loose weight in a healthy manner. I want to loose 80 pounds, I don't know how long it will in fact take me but I know with your support I will be able to do so.
Thank you everyone.
Brenda
My goal is to maintain my current weight and to get in better athletic shape/build endurance. I used to run long distances but have gotten lazy and just run short distances now. I would like to at least be able to run 5 miles comfortably and regularly.
ReplyDeleteI just read this in the hungry girl e-mail: According to new research, within a fe w short years of tying the knot, married people are far more likely than single people to become obese. FYI, the same study suggests that individuals who simply move in with their partners (and remain unmarried) also pack on pounds.
So, with getting married this week, my goal is to not let myself get too comfortable especially as I continue to be busy with grad school and work. I need to maintain my weekly gym schedule, eating healthy, not drinking very much (alcohol), getting outdoors, and not eating out often.
Hi, I have two goals the first is to loose 24lbs by the end of December 2009. My second goal is to try and make it to the GYM two-three times a week; hopefully Wednesday & Thursday evenings (but it would be nice to have a workout buddy)I am a member at 24 hour fitness. Then on Friday's try to work out with my hubby it's our only night together once school starts.
ReplyDeleteMy goals are pretty specific:
ReplyDeleteI want to get to a healthy weight range. I am about 5 ft 2, and would love to lose about 20 or so lbs by graduation.
I want to find yummy alternatives to soda and chips. My cravings are bad! Eventually I would like to eliminate soda from my diet fully.
I want to live a more active lifestyle. I want to work out at least 30 min everyday. This may seem like a small task, but you do not know how lazy I can be! lol Eventually i would like to have "Gym days" as part of my regular routine.
I want to be able to begin weight watchers again. Some tips on good foods with low points would be great!
Finally... I want to fit all the clothes that I used to fit lol. I have so many nice clothes, but gaining weight fast left me with little to choose from. I don't want to get rid of them because my hope is to fit them again. I also hate to buy clothes I can fit because I do not want to get too comfortable being this size!
